EBG-4 Jimmy Jay Signature Bass

This very special 4-string signature Steampunk bass guitar was custom-built for Jimmy Jay, bassist of the Swedish band H.E.A.T., who has been playing an EBG-4 Jigsaw bass guitar for the past years. Here is another current music project by Jimmy with the steampunk bass.

It comes with our Jigsaw body and tons of custom additions that give it a distinctive Steampunk look: eye-catching tops made from aged and specially treated copper sheets, volume control with actual working gear wheels (it goes to 11!), and many extraordinary inlays all around the instrument.

These include special bullet inlays in the fretboard, an analog watch movement and a vintage key in the body, and several Steampunk elements made from brass. The highlight is a bass amplifier vacuum tube in the middle of the aluminum center section that is lit up by LEDs.

Every instrument we sell is hand-crafted in our workshop in southern Germany. This instrument is a signature model.
